Content Development

Your Web site speaks to your customers. Is it telling your story the way you need it to be told?

Content writing may be the greatest challenge for an organization’s Web team. A hybrid of advertising writing, marketing-speak, headlines, news, and in depth information, your content must tell the story and engage your site’s visitors.

Brook Group Advantage:

  • RAD content protoyping tool for content development
  • Ability to optimize content for search engines

The benefits of well-written Web content go beyond clear, compelling communication—as if that weren’t enough! Well-crafted content can increase your search engine rankings, improve conversion rates, increase ROI, and keep traffic coming back to your site.

Content development with an eye on search engine optimization

Always conscious of optimizing for external search engines, Brook Group’s writers understand how to use content to increase your natural rankings. That drives visitors to your site, but compelling content keeps them engaged. Providing your visitors with well-written, relevant content will keep them coming back for more.

Our writers are trained communicators with backgrounds in journalism, advertising, and marketing. As a full-service Web firm, we have made it our business to develop staff skilled in best practices for Web writing.

Brook Group writers and content strategists can save you time through coaching and education, or by providing full-service writing services, from strategy through site launch.

The Content Writing & Development Process

Research

We get an in-depth look into your product or service, your business practices and goals. We get to know your company. We also check out the competition to see what sets you apart.

Pre-Write

We begin by creating a table of contents and drafting a style document. Our content strategists brainstorm and develop support statements, OR our clients provide us with content. We edit, or simply use it as background information from which to write new content depending on what the budget permits.

Writing and Editing

Once all of our research is completed, we begin writing the first draft of content. Content may see 2 or 3 drafts before clients begin to collaborate. It is not unusual to go another round or two with our client before completion.

Managing Content

With user feedback and usage statistics, we discover what works and what needs improvement. This can include adding new material, updating current material, archiving content and creating new links. We keep your Web site content fresh.
