Distributed Publishing

You need the right people in charge of your content. Historically, because of the necessity to translate information into HTML, editorial control of Web sites has rested firmly in the hands of the technical staff. Not only does this create a time-lag and bottleneck, it also means your content becomes the product of how it’s translated.

With Tacklebox’s use of distributed publishing, the people who are editorially responsible for content are in total control of when, how and by whom that content is managed. For the first time, content owners can write, edit and publish their content, independent of IT staff, using a simple WYSIWYG browser interface. Aside from the obvious benefits, this also allows multiple authors to work simultaneously on any given product.
