Washington Management Group (WMG) is a consulting firm that assists businesses in getting GSA and VA schedule contracts. They needed help with search engine optimization and hired Brook Group to develop an SEO strategy for their new Web site.

The Breakdown

We were to perform extensive keyword research, assist with information architecture, train content writers to incorporate SEO best practices and review the final Web site for search engine optimization.

How It Happened

Brook Group started the project with an interview with key stakeholders to identify WMG's objectives. We researched the industry to create a list of keywords that described the company's services. We worked with WMG to develop the information architecture of the site. We conducted a training session to teach WMG content writers how to incorporate the keywords into their Web site. We then performed a final review of the site to ensure that it was search engine-friendly.

The site contains the necessary elements to bring it to the top of search engine results. The site's navigation is clear and easy to follow, resulting in improved usability. WMG was so pleased with our work that they have hired us to do their subsidiary's Web site, FedSources.
