Brenau University has online degree programs for adult and non-traditional students. In their pursuit of academic excellence, they decided that their Web site needed an update. Their goals were to entice new students and better serve their current students. They hired Brook Group for our commitment to customer experience design and Web usability.

Make a Difference
We were hired to determine the site’s content needs, structure the site to place content in the most logical section and design sensible navigation to increase content accessibility. They wanted us to create a look and feel that promotes quality and distinction and optimize each page to increase search engine placement.
Taking the Next Step
Brook Group analyzed the old site to uncover its strengths and weaknesses. We then migrated the existing content into our RAD prototyping tool to reorganize the content into an improved architectural flow. On the design side, our Interactive Designer fashioned an attractive new interface based on Brenau’s brand guidelines. Our Content Developer worked with the Brenau staff to flesh out the various aspects of the online college to create a comprehensive information portal. As pages were coded, keywords were strategically placed to enhance search engine optimization.
The Results
The site is appealing without sacrificing clarity and it presents a unified look and feel. The Brenau University Online brand is maintained throughout the site. The site is highly intuitive and makes sense to users at every level. It is optimized to return high in search engine results.
